Our Top Five CHRISTMAS PARTY VENUES WITH A QUIRKY TWIST
With Christmas just around the corner, if you haven’t already got yours nailed down then do give us a call to chat through your requirements. But, if you are looking for something a little bit different and with a slight quirky twist, perhaps one of these might take your fancy…
The Flowerpot Hoxton
We are very excited to be going to the launch of this fabulous, brand-new event space in September. It’s a super large open-plan warehouse located on the Regent Canal in Hoxton, just a stone’s throw from trendy Shoreditch, with a 25-metre skylight running down the middle bathing the entire room in natural daylight. We are thinking it will be ideal for Christmas with a winter garden dressing of hanging plants, living walls and flowerbeds on wheels. We can’t wait to show you some pics after the launch!
Sitting on the top floor of a former cardboard box factory in Dalston, this unique urban space is rich in texture and provides a fabulous blank canvas on which to work our magic. Split into two distinct areas, the venue is filled with an amazing collection of eclectic props and furniture which can be arranged to suit and dress as you like. We have worked here a lot and just love the space! Each party here is unique and for Christmas it blends itself brilliantly.
The Pool Area and Bar at the Haymarket Hotel
We love this spot; grand and modern but with a super twist for an event – the sleek 55-foot swimming pool edged in stone and surrounded by acres of grey oak and a ceiling covered in hundreds of fibre-optic lights. It may not be a new venue on the event scene, but it has so much to offer. With a capacity for 100-220 guests standing or 70-160 guests seated, the Haymarket Hotel is brilliantly central. What a flexible and stunning space for your Christmas party!!
Another new and very cool venue with a twist, Puttshack is the world’s first venue to house four 9-hole mini golf courses using unique technology from the designers of Topgolf. Throwing together space-age high-tech mini golf and one of London’s biggest selections of rum, where better for your Christmas party this year? If you are a large group you can hire the whole venue – max capacity is 750 guests, otherwise smaller numbers can be accommodated in semi-private areas. We think this has all the trappings for a fantastic staff party – fun-filled entertainment, easy food, tasty cocktails, music and dancing!
Coppa Club Festive Igloos
For small, intimate Christmas dinners these igloos are the icing on the cake! All-day restaurant Coppa Club at Tower Bridge has installed eight igloo-style PVC party domes along the Thames to celebrate the festive season. Complete with sheepskin blankets and festive cocktails, the igloos are available to exclusively hire and three of them can seat up to eight guests each around a large circular table. Speakers pump out funk, soul and jazz while you feast and enjoy the stunning views over the Thames.
