Events Overview

An American venture capital company approached us to design and manage a three-day Founders Retreat for 60 American, European and UK attendees. The event was to be held at an exclusive country house venue within one hour of Heathrow Airport, with a strong focus on bonding, wellbeing and relaxation.

The chosen venue, Wasing Park in Berkshire, offered expansive outdoor spaces and a tranquil atmosphere, ideal for the retreat’s objectives. The accommodation onsite was supplemented with luxury glamping tents and bespoke shower units to create a unique and memorable experience.

Services Delivered

- Venue Finding & Management – Identifying and securing an exclusive countryside retreat that perfectly aligned with the client’s vision and distance from Heathrow.
- Full Event Planning & Logistics – Overseeing every detail to ensure seamless execution and with onsite management, throughout the three-day event.
- Activity Coordination – Curating and organising engaging experiences including;
- - Wild swimming & sauna sessions
  - Yoga classes
  - African drumming workshop
  - Moonlit walks with hot toddies by the fire
- Bespoke Branding & Printing – Designing and producing custom festival flags, banners, and event signage.
- Transport Logistics – Successfully coordinating travel arrangements for attendees.

Sustainability Focus

Lucy Claire Events’ commitment to sustainability was woven throughout the retreat, from eco-conscious decorations to locally sourced catering. Additionally, each glamping attendee received personalised comfort items such as towels in brand colours, wash bags and storm lanterns to enhance the experience while reducing waste.
