Events Overview
Lucy Claire Events partnered with a leading Norwegian events agency to deliver the UK arm of a three-day ‘English Adventure’ for 480 guests from a tech company based in Oslo. The brief: create an unforgettable weekend that blended quintessential British charm with seamless logistics across multiple towns. The centrepiece of the weekend was a lavish Edwardian Ball hosted at the University Museum of Natural History—a fusion of historical grandeur and immersive entertainment.
Guests arrived at a drink’s reception on the museum lawn, greeted by towering dinosaur stilt performers that set the tone for an evening of theatrical delight. Inside, the museum was transformed into a multi-zoned party space:
- A vintage photobooth captured guests in costume
- A café-style lounge offered relaxed seating and refreshments
- A central dancefloor pulsed with music from a live DJ
- Circus performers—including contortionists and acrobats—roamed the venue, adding surprise and spectacle throughout the night
Themed lighting and production rigging enhanced the Edwardian aesthetic, while senior company figures donned hired period costumes to fully embrace the spirit of the evening. After the festivities, guests returned to their accommodation across three university halls.
